The rebrand to Crypto.com Arena still sounds more like a speculative finance alert than a basketball cathedral, but step inside and the glow hasn’t faded. This is still Hollywood’s living room: Jack Nicholson parked courtside, celebrities half-watching the game, and championship banners quietly reminding you who the building has always belonged to. Spoiler: not the Clippers.

That distinction matters less now, because the Clippers’ chapter here is officially closed. For years, Crypto.com Arena felt like a shared apartment where one tenant owned the trophies, the photos, and the lease, while the other tried to make themselves comfortable. The Clippers had moments: Lob City, the Kawhi and PG era, but the walls always screamed purple and gold. Now, Clipper Nation finally has what it’s wanted all along: a true home of their own. With the move into their new arena complete, the Clippers are no longer tenants in someone else’s legacy. They’ve started writing one that’s entirely theirs at Intuit Dome.
