Target Center

Target Center is… well, it exists. It’s gone through renovations to keep up, but it’s never going to wow you. The sightlines are fine, the concourses are fine, the whole thing is aggressively fine. What saves it is the fans—long-suffering, patient, and suddenly rewarded with Anthony Edwards, who makes the building feel alive again. Sure, the Wolves don’t exactly have a trophy case to rival the Celtics, but when “Ant-Man” goes off, Target Center finally feels like it has an identity beyond being the arena you forget exists. Plus, there’s something lovable about Minnesotans screaming their lungs out while bundled up for a blizzard outside.
