Intuit Dome

The Intuit Dome, located in Inglewood, California, is the newly established home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers. Officially opening on August 15, 2024, the arena marks the first time the Clippers will occupy a venue exclusively under their control (rather than sharing with another major franchise).

Designed with a forward-looking emphasis on fan experience, the Intuit Dome features state-of-the-art amenities, a striking “halo” double-sided video display, multiple courts for practice and promotional use, and an 80,000-square-foot outdoor plaza.

Before the construction of Intuit Dome, the Clippers had long shared an arena in downtown Los Angeles: what is now called Crypto.com Arena (formerly Staples Center). From 1999 through the 2023–24 season, the Clippers played their home games alongside the Lakers (and the NHL’s Kings) under that shared roof.

During that era, the Clippers often existed in the shadow of the Lakers’ larger legacy, with their game-day identity occasionally made to “blend in” with the broader arena branding.

The move to Intuit Dome carries both symbolic and practical significance. It reflects the Clippers’ desire to step out from sharing facilities and to build their own distinct home in Los Angeles.

With its modern architecture, immersive technology, and design optimized around a basketball-first environment, the Intuit Dome aims to strengthen the bond between the team and its fans — and it seats about 18,000 of them at game time.
